refugium

I have made a pod refugium that lives on the brace bar of my tank and feeds via gravity into the tank. It works well.

This was made from about 6 pieces of glass and cost about £20 to make. This includes the glass, 2 pieces drilled and the silicone.

and need to save up a bit more cah though i think it will be after christmas as i can then buy better and more reliable equipment plus gives me a chance to research

Finally a chance to add the details here for you.

The jig I used to keep the glass upright whilst the silicon cured.


Some things for a re-design. Outlet hole needs to be twice the size as the inlet hole. Check your sizing for the brace bar and make the length small enough to have room on both ends.
