Moving house and moving my system??

Hi all,
Im moving house around jan/feb and am dreading moving my tank, and was wondering if anyone else has moved their tank?

My plan is to move the current tank and set it up somewhere out of the way(ish) And then start building my upgrade system:D , then change all live stock over slowly.
Im just really worried about moving it from where I am now to my new house.
It was bad enough moving my fresh water system to here, dread to think of whats going to happen to the system when completely stripped down and set back up, sooo much sand a rock to disturb.
So any suggestions or own experiences is welcome

Don't envy you that one mate.

I stripped my old system down 1 year ago and moved live rock and stock into buckets. On the same day, I set up the new tank and transfered all stock in straight away with no problems.

It took most of the day, and with a helper.

But the logistics of moving house, blimey................................

Did it about a month ago, didnt upgrade but downscaled at the same time, not too bad just get enough containers to accommodate everything.

Also is it possible to have your tank etc moved before you move home etc as this will help on the day. Eric

I've done this a few times now, well, moving systems for other people and its not quite as bad as you might think.
