I know someone who has two cleaners in one tank but not sure if they are a pair or not. They seem to get on ok though. They are both in a FOWLR tank with a few good sized fish so there is plenty for them to eat.

Have heard cleaner wrasse have a poor survival rate when there aren't enough large fish to clean and feed from. I've had mine for nearly 2 years but have always had good sized tangs/triggers with him so not sure how he'd fair without them. Just something you might want to keep in mind if you get another.

Know what you mean, they've actually got great characters. Mine sets up a cleaning station every morning just before lights on and all my tangs, my emperor and my foxface get a going over. Then he likes nothing more than to tuck himself inside a sheet of nori. I'm always terrifed that one of the tangs will get a hold of him by accident but they always seem to know that he's inside

i have kept cleaner wrasse for number of years without any problems, but only one in the tank.i think they need a large number of fish to clean and without them they wont survive.i know quite a few people who have had problems keeping cleaner wrasse and others who have not, good luck.derek

i've always been on the asumption you can only keep 1 wrasse in a tank regardless of species as they will fight.
infact my cleaner wrasse has been in my tank for just over a year and was in someone elses before hand. eats like a pig .
beware though he saw a neon goby which was accidently added to the tank (extra lr added to tank from friends system) and was trying to attack it. both same sort of shape and colouring.
