    it seems i may be going into a red slime bloom any advice people?

    ammonia 0.0
    nitrite 0.0
    nitrate 2
    po4 0.03
    reefcorals tank of the month october 08

    Hi M8,

    Cyno ? - the normal suspects :

    Lighting period - to long?

    Over feeding - ?

    Insufficent flow - ?

    If you have addressed all these, then syphon off as much as you can, and continue to do so, with a bit of luck it should burn itself out.

    as last thred said syphon it off really helps i have had some red slime think mine was down to to much feeding but syphoning it off has really slowed it up :p
