All my mushrooms are located around middle of tank, with my rics on the bottom. All seem to be fine and growing. Then again i do only have T8's so I'm probably not the best one to advise you on this?

Mushies do not like bright lighting I have mine in the bottom half of my tank, also they do best with low to medium flow.

If the mushies are smooth then they dont get target feed, if the mushies have tenticles (hairy mushrooms ect) then they can be target feed.
