    Default My Tank

Here is a photo of my new tank

As you can see there is not much life in it yet. The tank will be plumbed into our existing frag tanks and I plan to keep tangs in this setup. It measures 77*30*27.

I will be using two closed loops as well as a 6,500 litre feed that will exit by two corner weirs. 1 weir will flow straight below to an SPS frag tank the other will feed direct to a Sump. I plan to feed the unit by a refuge (sp) system but at the moment this tank is housing livestock so the critter population has not really been given a chance to flourish. I hope to get time to have this rectified shortly.

I will keep post coming as I add water, live rock etc.

    James

ps Tank was built by Keith at Windsor Aquatics

77x30x27 thats an odd size mate, I take it that it is custom built to fit a specific gap ?

looking forward to seeing it develop

yep our frags tanks are 77 by 30 by 12 so just wanted to keep it a similar size to maximise the framework area. Custom built by Keith at windsor :-D

Ooooo, an empty tank. I like this stage of setting up a tank, all the many stocking possibilities. Am really looking forward to seeing what you do with it.

I am hitting a snag already, sob sob. I asked for the wrong size of closed loop holes. :(

I have had a view tips on how to rectify this, so watch out for the sad emoticons or the happy ones over the next few days.
