hairy monster !!

Caught this beast tonight after the wife spotted it dragging a snail into it's hole, i whipped out the rock saved the snail then after a quick carefull chisel grabbed the crab. I had wondered why 3 other snails had met their demise in that area so now i know.
It now lives in my sump and as soon as its back in water it fluffs up all cute like :)

Yes you did well there getting him out m8, he's a Teddy Bear crab by the look of him. Make sure you dont add him back to the tank keep him in the sump and throw a bit of Whole mussel in every week . HTH Twiggy:D:D

Well i'm sure he'll be happy in the DSB sump 36x15x15 all to himself except another two crabs (no where near as mean as this one) and a few pieces of live rock.
I haven't got any mussel but plenty of frozen prawn which i imagine would be ok ??

not nice crabs at all they eat anything and bury into leathers and eat there way out destroying the leathers
