Hitchhiking crab - ID needed

Ok I found this guy by pure luck earlier when I turned over a rock. I grabbed him sharpish and chucked him in the sump. The pics are crab as he's about the size of a 10 pence peice. Anyone know what he is?

it looks likie he has pointed claws if so hes a baddy james will clarify this

we just call these xanthid crabs as they are from the family xanthidae. Black gloves :D on their pincers is a clue to their id - Bad crab!
