Hi all
As mentioned in the thread about my tank - I've bought a new rock with beautiful green mushrooms on it.
But there is one that is different can anyone help me ID it.
Many thanks

The problem is that it's one of the most beautiful things that I've ever seen, and I can't bring myself to kill it, but I know it might damage my coral :(
I might move it into the sump area in the tank.
Does anyone know of the best way to move it off the rock it's curently on and onto a new home without damaging it?

Hi what ever you do dont put it in the sump as it will find its way back to your tank eventually, do as others have said get rid unless it will spread all over your rock then you will have to dump it all and buy some new rock. I know this sounds harsh but its the only way believe me, they are like Aiptasia's they spread like wild fire when they get a foot hold. HTH Twiggy:D:D
:(
Looks like I have no choice. I can't risk my mushrooms
Why does something that is so beautiful have to be so nasty

You could always set up a nano or pico tank just for the majano. I actually thought of doing that if I ever got one as I think they are pretty too. At least that way you can enjoy it without upsetting any corals.
