    Well, I'll try and get this forum rolling, seeing as I like me mushies.

    When I started my first tank I managed to get 12kg of live rock from someone breaking down their tank and got some mushie hitchikers. Most didn't survive my new tank but this one did and it has yet to stop growing 2 years down the line :eek:

    Here's the diary of my monsta mushie:

    Here it is the day I got the liverock on 9 Sep 04 (bad pic I know but you can just make it out, its about the size of a 5p):

    And on 6 Apr 06 moved to its current location:


    The mushie has grown a wee bit since that last picture and is now about 10" in diameter. We also have several babies that have grown up underneath it. As its a Rhodactis sp I keep it well fed on raw tiger prawn just in case it gets hungry and decides to take one of my smaller fish. Especially as my red spot blenny keeps teasing it by sitting right inside and letting it close completely round him before making his escape :rolleyes:

    Anyone else got monsta mushies?

    I have upgraded to a 48x26x30inch with a 40x18x18 sump which as a Bubble Magus NAC7 skimmer with a Eheim compact 5,000 return pump.

    Nice mushroom!

    Ive got a mushie growing on a peice of LR at the moment and its grown about 1" in a month:) Doesnt look as good as yours though!
