Help with Mushroom Leather

I have had this mushroom leather in my tank since may over the last month it has shrunk and is sulking nearly permanently it has days sulking then films then all the polyps come out for a day or so and it sulks some more. I can only think of 2 things possibly wrong my blue tip hermit it crawling around on it alot and wondered if he is nipping at it as I have noticed little bits of edge in the middle have gone white and it has started to perish or could it be that it has to much flow it is in front of my power head? Any help appreciated :confused:

Hi,

I doubt the hermit is the problem. If your power head is to close and is blasting at the leather then this will be the problem. Try to divert the flow a llttle, this may help.
