    Default Chipped Glass?

    Hi all,

    Just been checking my new tank over and found I have a rather large chip out of the rear of the glass:eek: between bottom and back glass my fault found the missing bit I found it in my porch can post photos with approx sizes will tank be ok?

    Hi Rob if your worried just clean the tank on the inside wth a scratchy pad then meths and get a piece of glass cut to make a patch and silicone it over where the chip is. Make sure it over laps the chip and put plenty of silicone on and aound it and let it dry for a day or 2. HTH Eric:D

    this is what I did to mine when moving it.. Doh.. patched it up at xmas and my carpets not wet. YET. :D
