    Default Twinspot Wrasse your Views

What are your views on a twinspot wrasse, I have one in my tank, so far hes behaving himself.

Hes full of charactor and its amazing to watch him when he beds down for the night. Darts straight into the sand bed like a bullet.

He loves playing football with the rockwork. LOL

do you have a deep sand bed(4/5in) in your main tank as they like to bury themselves. they also eat shrimps and urchins.

    Just found this:eek:,

Adult male twinspot wrasses can be quite large—up to 4 feet (120 cm) in length. They are dark green and have two bands of light green and blue running around the width of the body. The mouth is pointy and the fish have large fleshy lips. Slightly bulging, the forehead has a large hump. Some of the males are smaller and lighter in coloration.

Hi Mike with what ROB has just found out i would take it back to the LFS you bought it from as its going to cause a few problems down the line. Please research your fish before buying them as this is how you end up with a monster, also if the shop dont sell them they wont stock them either which is a good thing HTH Eric:D

No place in a home aquarium IMO.
