Like the aquascaping a lot, have you secured the rock together somehow?

the left side is just 3 bits and the right side is about 6 bits with a few bits of branch rock thrown in for good measure. didn't really need securing as its pretty flat.

it also seems to make the tank look bigger, seems there is more swimming space.
