    Default Scrapers and cleaners

    Hey all

I think i have been around the board twice buying coraline scrapers and havnt found a half decent one yet, aquamedic too big for the old nooks and crannys:D, the kent one had a great flexible handle and was smaller sized too which was spot on but the blades are crap and bend up after one good clean..any recommendations?, what is everyone using that has a good strong blade that doesnt require going to the lfs for a replacement pack after the weekend?...if i can fix a stanley blade onto the kent handle i think i will have a patent but having no joy

    Thanks all

The bladed one is the Hobby magnet. I got mine off ebay. It seems to be the most recommended of the cleaning tools, and I find it is really good at removing just about anything from the glass.

I have an attachment that glues to a "Magfloat" It's basically a retractable double sided razor blade. Excellent bit of kit. The blade can be easily cleaned after use to prevent rusting.

The problem with the Hobby scraper is that the blades and magnets rust within weeks. Take the cover off one and look how rusty the magnets are!!

My original blade has lasted 2 years and just ordered a pack of new ones from USA.

nah, the one i have isnt a magnet, its a 1.5ft long stick with a blade holder at the end. much better than the magnets as the hobby ones i tried fell apart and didnt float!

Magfloats get nothing of my glass, and even put scratches on the glass for me.

I use a long handle (was a rena scraper thingy) with an attachment for stanley blades so I got a box of 100 from work, happy days.
