    Default Considering a seahorse/pipefish setup

Hey everyone. Im new here, obviously. :P

I have been keeping fish for about 5 years now. I started keeping fresh water fish when I was about 13, and when I was 15 I moved onto Marines. Ive had my setup for about 2/3 years and now im thinking of getting another tank for Seahorses and perhaps Pipefish as well, because they're so cool. :D

I was just looking for a little guide really. What kind of size tank, what filters, rock, etc. Maybe theres a tank with a load of suitable stuff bundles like nano cube or something? I dont have a very big budget because Im paying for this myself. (Student, lol) Somewhere in the reigon of £200 - 350.

Any help much would be appreciated! :D

    Hello Furin, welcome to reefcorals.

    I think the D&D 24G nano would make a good seahorse/pipefish setup.
With some rock and algae etc, it should keep you in budget too.

I have never kept these creatures either so can't offer any more advice.

    Welcome,

Hope you enjoy your stay with us. :)

I think P.A.D one of the members on the site has some experience of seahorses. Maybe drop him a pm?

    Hi, Welcome to the forum.

if you drop MT one of the sponsors a PM he'll probably be able to offer some advice. His wife has a really nice seahorse system which is an aquaone IIRC. He sells a really smart nano system perfect for seahorses in his shop within your price range.

I'm sure you'll get lots of advice from ppl on here..
