Default Fire Shrimp / Blood Shrimp

    Hi All,

not sure if these are the same shrimps...but they're a bright red colour!!

My question is can i have these in a Nano (D&D 24)...also, are they compatable with other shrimps such as Cleaners and peppermint, are they compatable with soft/lps corals?

    Thanks

should be fine imo with the other 2 shrimps you have mentioned . They are the bright red shrimps and look stunning and as far as i know they are 100% fine with corals

Agreed, they are cleaner shrimp and should not cause any trouble.

However, watch out if you get that Sun Coral, shrimp can and do steal the food from the polyps, sometimes even after the polyp has swallowed it.

just have to make sure that the shrimps get well fed before feeding the sun coral!

i had a boxer shrimp in my previous setup...along with a cleaner shrimp and they got on ok (it was a 3ft tank).

Would a boxer also be ok with the above shrimp in a tank my size?

Hi Ricardo you seem as if your putting a lot in a 24 gallon Nano tank:D , but i would leave out the boxer as they might not get on with other shrimp in a small space.:D Eric
