Are you asking if you should use toughened glass in the construction?
If so - no, normal float glass is fine.

and if you're asking how tough it is. fairly robust but I wouldnt go lobbing any bricks at the tank :D ;)
Hi Pat most tank are made with float glass, i think Jewel tanks are made with toughened glass but not sure. HTH Eric:D
as stated most are from float glass,the tank i have the two front panels are armour plated which i had done by a friend who works at a glass works.derek
