Has anyone had experience moving a Ricordia? I'm talking slicing it off a rock here and trying to stick it somewhere else. My red ricordia is getting overshadowed by a finger leather and I dont think it's getting enough light, It doesnt seem to want to move of it's own accord but the colour has dimmed down to a muddy orangy brown.

I'd have a go at slicing it off like I do with my mushies but seeing as it's a Ricordia and worth a few bob more I thought i'd ask you lot first :D

I have fragged a 3 Ricordias - First attempt was a total mess. But I learned from that.

Here are my steps in fraging or removing a Ricordia

    1- Get sharp Scissors.
2- Wear Gloves (they sting a little not as much as a hairy mushroom)
3- Get the rock with the Ricordia attached to and take it out.
4- Hold the rock so that the Ricordia is upside down. Will show the stalk this way.
5- Slice it off (1 swift cut would be the best)
    6- Rinse it
7- Get the piece of rock you want it to attach too and then place it on it and secure it using some netting (tulle) is what I use (bridal veil) then get a elastic band and to hold the netting in place.
DO NOT place the elastic band over the Ricordia.
8- Place it in a area with low flow but roughly the same amount of lighting that it was used too.
9- Will take around a week to reattach itself to the rock.
10- The stalk where the ricordia was originally should re-grow into another Ricordia in a few weeks.
