Royal Savoy Sharm el Sheikh snorkelling pics

Got back on monday so it's time i put up some pics for those that haven't seen them on facebook.

The Royal Savoy is a fantastic hotel with a great house reef and a pontoon that drops you right at the reef. Hotel is outstanding giving full access to all the restaurants and bars on an all inc basis for those staying in the royal and on a limited basis for those on all inc. Sat and worked it out - we ate over 7lbs of prime sirloin steak, ate over a grands wrth of food and dranks about a grand and a half worth of Sakara beer, and Bacardi and coke. So well worth upgrading to royal. The water was a bit on the chilly side and gets very cold after about an hour. I will be investing in a neoprene shorty for future trips. All shots were taken with a Canon Powershot D10. Can't recommend these cameras enough.

Thanks stew, yeah loved the sohal that pic wasn't cropped it really got that close. I was using the rope to get back to the pontoon and the tang was coming close to nibble the algae off the top that it couldn't get to when it was floating. I was a bit wary at first because I have been attacked twice by them, they're very territorial!

Fantastic piccies.

I was there a couple of years ago but stayed just up the coast at the Baron, the reefs are truley amazing, I will look into a quality camera for the next one.

Amazing.

Never been spoilt and waited on so much.

I've also never seen so many people polish all the paths and floors every day.

I nearly got polished one day!

Similar set up, a jetty to take you out and a cracking indian on the beach.

We went in March so similar weather, bearable lol.

OMG, neeed to go back.....
