    Default Blue cheek gobies

Last May I bought a pair of the above fish. I was told that they like to live in pairs, but if one died then the other would not last long. They spend all the time swimming and feeding in the sand like siamese twins. Great charachters to watch

Tuesday this week and only one swimming round so I have been keeping my eye on it and looking for the other. Lunchtime today and the other one appeared very briefly. Looking very thin and very nervous. It does not swim around like it used to. I dropped some pellets in near his cave and he ate a couple of them.

The question now is, is it ill or has it laid some eggs in the cave where they both live?

Hi Dennis BC Gobies dont have a very good survival rate as they dont get enough food out of the sand they sift in a tank, you need to get them feeding on Mysis shrimps so they will survive then its not 100% that they survive. The white cheeks are the same the only difference is they dont scatter sand all over your corals like the blues do. Twiggy
