first tank thread

hi all, this is my first tank thread on here only joined today so im a bit of a noob i'll start with my current set up a vision 180 sumpless 150w halide,55x turn over per hour,hob skimmer and homemade cab,i started keeping marines about 2 years ago and i'll admit i knew nothing which resulted in a lot of failures and eventually about a year ago i had a tank crash but i learnt from it and put my new found knowledge in to practice.My current set up consists of mixed softies and sps frags with 2 hermits 10 turbo's a yellow tang 3 green chromis 2 anthias i bangai cardinal 1 tank bred clown 1 mandarin and an algae blenny its been a great little tank to learn in but now im ready for my first sumped set up and more sps so this is the new tank i picked up today i'll update more pics as it progresses thanks :)

lol nope.ive been planning an upgrade for about 6 months and finally got round to ordering the tank last week and now its here i just want to fill it :(

know the feeling..was the same when I went from a nano to a 3ft lol.
next tank I want is a cube tank but that wont be for a good while yet

Well I've still got my current set up at the moment so I think I'll take my time with this one and try and get it right :)

when I upgrade (prolly a decade from now!) I'll defo have a sumped system, am thinking of sumping my existing 4 footer, but would rather spend the money on a lighting pendant and a couple of frags first.

I know of a great lighting unit,cheap as chips if your tank is big enough it's 48x24 8 bulb t5 unit 33,000 lumens you do need to change the stock bulbs on these units but they really are worth the money (under £200) I also know of a good website for bulbs if posting links are allowed on this site?
