I ordered a new tank yesterday unplanned after a somewhat disastrous day... My Betta Lifespace 680 decided to spill it's guts on me after a split base.
After a hectic day of running around trying to secure the safety of my livestock, clearing up the mess and carnage I'm left with a pile of rocks in a container of water and another container with corals in it. This is my beloved 680 as it stood last week.
The new tank measures 36x36x24 and is a Seabray custom built tank, centre weir, sump and a matte black finish. That's about all I can remember about the tank as I phone World of Fishes in a bit of a daze and said "I need a sumped tank as fast as you can get me one". Hats off to Daryl at WoF, he sorted me out with quotes within a few hours and tank will arrive next week with me (Thursday).
My plan for the tank is to add my existing fish and existing LPS coral stock. I'm going to carry over my current equipment except the lighting which I'll need to replace. I'm undecided on whether to go down the LED route.
I'll add some pictures once the tank arrives, any advice on the lighting from would be welcome.
Current stock I'll be transferring over
