Dead?!

So my anem got stuck in the filter intake pretty sure its a goner but how to tell? Bc I don't want to leave it in there if its dead

if the nem is a dead its basically got no structure, just a mass of goo

It is still holding some of its tentecle things out but just kind of shriveled... I can't get a pic my camera is broken..sry

Turn off your powerhead and leave the nem alone, don't try to pull it out, they can recover from this as long as your water is tip top. It will remove itself from the ph

mine did the same the day i was taking him back to lfs, i just tickled him off after turning the pump off

If you keep Nems you need to Nem proof your powerheads as its like shutting the door after the horse as bolted, there are plenty of ways to do it just do a google or search on here. Twiggy
