cheers for thew replys..a lot of the diy I have to thank my mate trigger for(thats him in the pics and with his tank)
I have just added a few bits of sps after a nitrate spike and cyno bloom took out my last frags.then started the
zeo method which took the levels down a lot.but lately got the smallest bit of hair algae appear.... hasnt grown
in weeks but dont want it to.was thinking of removing some of the sandbed as it could be holding on to a lot
of neutrients.only other this it a couple of aips have showed up and they are on very hard to reach places so that
more fun and games lol.so next it maybe a upgrade from T8's to T5's for the arcadia halide I have and maybe a
10k bulb for more growth.
here is some of the SPS, a lot of it glows A nice green colour under the blues but the camera wont pic it up

thanks, its suprising how much you can do on warm summer nights and

think I am finally winning the war on GHA,
didnt have loads of it but its turning brown and falling off.
changes done are,more cheato,new bulb, 10% instead of usual 5%
water changes and using more dry foods over frozen.
hopefully the rest of it clears up and wont come back.
