    Default Nano Tank Selection

Starting to really get somewhere towards a tank selection.

I did want a glass / open top Nano but they only seem to be very small volumes, i want something in excess of 60 litres.

Really like the look of the Buyo TL550 @ 120 odd litres, i think it looks big enough for your eyes not be distracted towards the black hood, which i personally think take away from the look of the fish and coral.

Its looks like it can be had 2nd one can be had for a £150, which seems pretty good value.

Is there anything i need to keep an eye out when buying second hand? or anything else that comes to peoples minds regarding this tank? eg upgrades required etc

Before i starting hunting down the forums and web, is there any other plug and play tanks i should also keep in mind? or better than than the boyu?

Budget around £250 max, other possibilities maybe incude a new Kent marine without stand? Which would you choose?

when I first tred nanos I used a 15x12x12 clearseal tank with the same size
sump.the tanks cost me about £20 each and the dearest thing was the £45 halide.
looks crude but the whole lot cost me about £150 to set up.always liked the look
    of the buyo tanks.

I started with a betta lifespace 90 (90 ltr!?) I was a very good tank and i loved it, but couldnt resist an upgrade to a bigger tank. My nano is now up for sale if you are anywhere near kent?! I would recomend getting a 2nd hand tank as you get a lot more for your money and will be already matured for you.
