bet its not that rare. Just it is collected from Cuban waters and who knows what there. Probably lots more of marine fish no one has heard of.

Its all about whos a snob as i was reading on another forum that a boxer guy from Manchester had bought a Gem Tang for £3200, he obviously has more money than sense its just so he can s**** off to his m8s that he has a Gem Tang the tosser i cant do with folk who try to be something they are not.Twiggy

yup they are a new fish classed by the people who found it, as you say may not be rare but atm they are as I think you can only get them from one place
