Mini-Maxi Nem Latched to Fanworm

Anyone know how to persuade my new mini maxi nem to leave my fanworm?

It moved off its piece of rock onto the piece holding my fanworm in place and seems to be well stuck to the worms tube, the worrying thing is the fanworm hasn't left his tube since which is unlike him, i hear these nems have quite a powerful sting, but could it have stung the worm inside its tube?

Edit to add: Found info on a US site, managed to get it off and moved back to some rock, I don't think it was too impressed with having its foot gently prised off with my finger nail but it worked.
Not sure about my fanworm, on the odd occasion he's toppled over i can feel it move inside its tube, not today though, and there was a hole in its tube about where the nem was, and now two of the hermits are loitering with intent!

he might have nashed off before being stung, in which case he might be somewhere else in the tank and will construct a new tube.

The tube felt pretty solid, before i've felt him wriggling inside but not today, but last time there was a long bit of tube under the sand, but today hardly any so he could've legged it, i've split them both up so i guess its wait and see if he pops up again in this tube or somewhere else, i hope the nem hasn't zapped him, he was sodding expensive from my lfs & he brings a bit of colour to the tank.
