    Hi Daz,

Well when I am not lazy, I wash mine in RO before feeding, but would have to admit I am lazy a lot :o

I am going to make an effort in future and wash before feeding. Cut down PO4 going into tank.

I rinse mine in RO water then pour it into a strainer then into a cup with a little tank water.I use a pippette from the test kit to add the food bit by bit that way you do not overfeed .

Cup o tank water, Food cube in a tea strainer.

When its thawed, squeeze the water out the food into the cup and feed.

Discard the water in the cup.

Only if it is left to rot in the tank.

If it ain't all gone within 24 hours then you are probably putting too much in.

Not sure but my Tangs go potty for the stuff. I'm wondering weather to knock the frozen stuff on the head until I get my tank stabized, this could be a contributing factor towards my diatom problem?
