A good forum is like a good wine improves with age
i know you're having problems mate, are you sure?
Oh yes will be handy as well as, dont trust dosing so much and incase the main tank goes down hill will have a spare one to house the stock
Was laying awake last night thinking about lighting, I was thinking of the thread started about lighting which can be read in the link below started by EJIT so have decided on natural light

Also for heating has anyone thought of a heat mat under the glass for heating thats connected to a thermostat, the heating would be more equal then a single heater, also will read up but i am thinking of relying on convection for the flow in the tank
heat mat might work on a bare bottom tank, but i would think it might cause problems with a sand bed
Ta Chris
Thought about that but not having any substrate at all so will do some research and let you all know, might even test it on the little tank first
I used to keep a newt with a heat mat under the tank it worked fine, but im not sure how easy it would be to control, had afew trops in there also
