    Unhappy Protein skimmers

    Hi I need help with what protein skimmer to choose?

    Its either a V2 120 or a BOYU WG310

    Which is better and will they fit in my 94litre

    I would not bother with a skimmer for a tank that size just do a good water change every week ie 5% weekly. Twiggy

    friend has a tank just like that, it has a prism(dont laugh) skimmer
    on it which seems to pull some amount of rubbish out......buts its one noisy sod like my skimmer lol

    I have a red sea Prizm on an Orca 550. (Cut the back out) It's a bit pants & was £20 from Poz1966 but I can now fit others on if I want.
    She loves my golden brown sea cucumber!

    I used the red sea wait for it deluxe skimmer on my first tank did the job at first as i didnt want to throw loads of money at the hobby if i couldnt keep up with the hobby

    Very bloody noisy

    funny that we are talking about the red sea prisim,
    fella in my work just bought one.putting a air tap
    on them seems to make them work better.I recently
    upgraded to a deltec mce600(means when I upgrade I dont neeed a new skimmer)
    I got mine on gumtree cheap, worth keeping an
    eye out there for skimmers.

    a small deltec nano skimmer would be a better bet, the v2 120 wouldn't be a good choice IMO.

    What about the BOYU anyone have objections? is the deltac good and small enough for a nano? Im so confused as my tank is a starter and everyones like "**** a skimmer just do water changes" ahahahhaha Im too paranoid to leave out a skimmer xD

    my skimmers so big if it wasn't pulling 3500ltr of water through an hour i could use it as a nano tank, haha. i got a aquamedic shorty 2,
    Boyu orca TL-550 nano reef, 3000ltr wavemaker, 300w heater.
