Default Leather Coral Has Grey Areas

I have a Leather Mushroom Coral that has been in the tank for about 3 weeks now and is showing some signs of concern. The coral has in places gray patches. Initially I thought it may have come in contact with an anemone but there are areas where this couldn't have happened. Any ideas on what's going wrong (if anything at all).

If you cant see any decaying on the area that is grey the leather might just be getting to its shredding stage, every now and again they close up and shed mucus apart of their growing, Just keep an eye on it to see how it goes and dont be to alarmed if it stays closed for a while

A bit of a delyed response, but i find if i have a rapid drop or low kH my toadstool sulks and gets grey patches on it. Did the other week as my tank dropped by nearly 2 dkh in 48hours. Recovered now and nearly all have but disappeared again.
