just wondering if i can use a external filter filled with calcium argrogate to boost calcium levels or wont it work .

It will work but very slowly as you need the CO2 to disolve the media as in the calcium reactor so i would not bother with it. Twiggy

ok cheers was just a thought might just use it as extra nitrate and phos filter instead ,
