Post Hi, new tank first pics

    Hi all,

Attached first pictures of my tank, nearly 3 months in. Still very much work in progress, and funny as hell the amount of times i have changed things around. BIG Thanks for all the advise on the posts and the late night shopping and advise at Marine Tech on Thursday nights.

We want to add a bit more LR and some coral, than see how it goes.

Newly installed MCE600, had to cut out hood to fit.

And a temp solution to cover the holes, made from a milk carton :) . Now need to think of a permanent that will get the thumbs up from my GF.

currently I am getting micro air bubbles from the Skimmer, but from what i have read these will hopefully go away in the next few days.

Like the rock work. :) What size is your tank? You have been very patient. I'm 10 weeks in and have far too many fish, hence lots of water changes. :D

    4ft, 260 litres.

    - currently have 1 yellow tang, 2 clowns, 4 turbo snails, 3 hermit crabs. (and one unknown crab that we are trying to hunt down. only seen it once, looked like a small crab you see at the beach)
    - 1 leather elephant ear, and got a small rock with a couple of mushrooms on it. hoping for these to get going.

    - going to invest in a few Ads next week, will be good to watch these hopefully develop into some next coral.

I discovered these forums after buying the tank, regretting it so much now, after seeing the sump systems etc available. but trying to make the most of the tank I have. Loving the hobby
