    Hi all

I bought a pair of clowns last week (think there false perc). Anyhow I just wondered how I could tell if there happy or not.

They are a pair and about 5 year old so are pretty decent size. The male is about half the female size at 2 inches

Anyway. They seem to be happy and were a pair in the guys tank that sold me it. Although I have seen in others tanks where they never leave each others sides. My clowns seem to swim around on there own for a little bit. Then retreat back to their cave with each other. I really hope there still a pair and the move hasn't stressed them. They don't fight with each other. The male just makes sure the chromis don't come near there new cave lol.

I thought that maybe the reason they swim freely is because they don't feel threatened which could be a good thing I guess :) but would love a second opinion.

    Thanks guys.

    I'm sure you'll be fine.

Species could be quite important so post a picture if you can, false perc should have very little to no black on them, except trimming round the white!

They look ok to me, clowns never do seem happy as mine always seem to be moping about and not swimming about like other fish do. In the wild they hardly move from there nem as they would get eaten if they did Twiggy
