Clown fish. Perc or occelaris?

looks really happy in ny tank :)

Just wondering. He recons they were percula clown fish, altough I'm certain they're not. They look like really thin bits on them. Not sure if there wild or false perc tho.

Also. I know sometimes they start as quite pale. What's the best food from them?

I got some decent ocean nutrition orange flakes off big h (thanks mate!!) for valeting there cars :) these seem pretty good. Wonder if there good for colour

any help and opinions would be brill.

would say your hunch is right, imo they're false percs. can't go wrong with ON flakes.

Maybe there are percs. Was just a bit unsure as some pics I looked at they had a big black markings like spreading.

yup. that's right.

The only way to say for sure is to count the dorsal spines. I have seen percs with thinner black markings. They look a tad underfed too-it could be the pic though.

its hard to do (count dorsal spines) but gaters is bang on. True percs IMO are so much nicer.

at first glance your are false percs. your signature are true percs - lovely.
