I have two 9/10 inch convicts in my tank with two cleaner shrimps, without any problems.

Like Macca said I think, the shrimps were new and one must have aroused too much curiosity. Should have introduced tham at the other end of the tank.

    Will know for next time.

    top post!

i once deliverd a goby and pistol shrimp to an LFS, They were a true pair. Obviously the pistol shrimp needed longer acclimation so went in the tank last. Anyway to my horror they just dumped the pistol shrimp into the tank and the goby thought it was food and ate it. jeez!

always place shrimps or any invert into a net and lower them down to rockwork away from hungry fish. Once they are on the rock they will protect themselves or reef safe fish will recognise what they are --- NOT food. lol
