    And then there were 3.

    I got 4 cleaners from Macca yesterday.

    Anybody know if 8" convict/engineer blennies or a Green BTA are likely to take shrimps?

    He could be hiding, but the other 3 are out and I've tried to observe the tank from all angles but cannot see leg nor feeler anywhere.

    might be hiding, having a molt, they often molt when moved to new waters, if it was to be eaten it would more likely happen straight away once introduced to the tank.

    I'm a little suspicious of the Convict still. I saw one of them with a slug type thing (ones with the little shells on thier backs) sticking out of it's mouth the other day. It did not want to let go despite the slug squirming around and trying to get out.

    im sure i read before about conficts being not that reef safe when they get big, maybe best doing a google and finding out.

    Yep, definately sure it was the remains of the shrimp.
