    Default halide mix up

ive been looking to get a metal halide for a while now and have rambled on to my gf about ti for awhile so she decided to buy me a 250w hang on the back one with a cooler and timer built in that i had seen...........only problem is 250 w i am told would pretty much cook my tank so i was wondering whats the smallest size tank i could get away with using a 250w halide?

    thank you :)

A 250 watt Halide will heat a tank of 100 Gallon never mind a Nano so i would forget that and buy a TMC HD 1000 tile or you can get the 1500 one now and i believe there is a 2000 coming out soon. These will grow all the corals you want in a Nano. Twiggy

ive been looking at them tmc tiles and they are around £200 cheapest so i think i`ll try and sell the 250 w mh and get one with a smaller out put or maybe wait and see how the arcadia leds turn out since the biggest one will only cost £80 so i was thinking a couple of the smaller ones mounted on a bracket
