    Cool 1 very Happy sailin_home....

for months i have looked at my tank and been thinking to myself their's not enough going on in there, i need more fish, well after my jolly's to west and east yorkshire over last few days their certainly is alot more action going on, still got a racoon butterfly fish to collect monday evening, but here's the new additions: will add pics tomorrow..
    1) Clown Tang
    2) vampire tang
    3) hawaiian kole tang
    4) humbug damsel
    5) 2 yellow coris wrasse

and before the tang police gets me they are all still around 3-4", and will be only in current system 6mth max, till my new setup up and running. also got 4 new corals, some nice green zoa's, 2 acroporas and some kind of purple plating coral with green dots on it,

I know your getting a larger tank but its not that thats bothering me its the Clown Tang as they are a nasty fish liable to freak out and kill all the other fish. My friend had one he had it for about 3 years when all of a sudden it went round the tank slashing at other fish slitting then open and it eded up killing 12 fish in his tank so watch out as they are known killers. , bloody hell read about 10 different reviews on the fish before i decided to get it, it did say it can be the dominant fish in the aquarium, but no mention of a phycho killer, it seems settled at minute, my yellow tang gave it what for yesterday when it invaded it's personal space but it didn't seem too bothered. will keep a very close eye on it. seemed really placid and docile in the tank i got him out of. thanks for the warning eric..

someone should write a book on marine fish, that's truthful and to the point. reviews compiled by owners not by someone reading a report from a scientist...

Sorry if i scared you all i am saying beware as they can turn, it usually is when they get large and i think its to do with them coming into full adult breeding condition when they feel there feet like we do. Eric

They are a nice fish like the Sohal but both are prone to be a handfull and can turn nasty. StevieH has a large Sohal and he his the boss even of my old Lipstick which is larger, but he his a stunning fish with lovely markings. Twiggy

dollydip had a young clown tang that he would have happily filleted, only a juvi and it was a nasty piece of work. hope your humbug behaves itself as well.
