    Default Upgrade 4ft or 5ft??

    Hi Guys

Well as some of you know I had problems with my tank and it had to be emptied last Friday. Im now looking to upgrade, the tank I did have was 38" x 19" x 16" now looking to go a little bigger.

Ive been looking at lots of tanks over the last few days and been offered a few 4ft'ers and a few 5ft'ers.

Could people give me some pro's & con's of each? and your opinion of which you would go for.

    Cheers

the bigger the better, if you've room for a 5ft then i'd go for that. i found the bigger the tank the easier it is to keep water quality good.

i have seen some large systems i could not spend more than 5 mins looking at whilst i have seen nanos i could spend all day looking at. size is meaningless unless the fish require it.

so why do you have a 6ft with no corals... LMAO B ig time!

I could spend more time looking at a system with corals and inverts in a nano than a big bare 6ft tank with loads of fish. Thtas just me.

I would have to agree on the 5ft but also know what macca means!

For me it's the corals and inverts and critters that make it different and more interesting...
