Default My River Reef 94l first attempt at marine

Its not long set up and I;m really catching the marine bug. Kept fish for 19 years but this is the way forward for me now

Just bought a river reef 94 litre tonight so will swap every thing over somehow next week??? hadn;t thought of how to do tha ttill now!

anyway heres some pics, it has about 12 kg of live rock plus 2 clown fish, 2 red leg hermits, 2 turbo snails
plus I large and 1 small toadstool, xenia pulse frag, green zoas, riccordea florida, yellow star polyps, kenya tree and finger coral

when I added the kenya tree on live rock tonight spotted three tiny aspitasia damn and also three brittle starfish!!! should i leave them in or not?

The scaping was rushed in a cloudy tank ut I;m leaving it like this for now and may be change it at a later date or see how it gets on when corals grow and tank shows signs of maturing algae, coraline wise

    Resized to 72% (was 1022 x 766) - Click image to enlarge

It looks more active now. I;d like to eventually add a lawnmower blenny, a shrimp another couple of hermits and I;m going to read into a sand sifting starfish although i doubt i could have one

    thanks for the kind comments

the clowns are great although i have one bigger one and one weaker one, the weaker one is skinnier and breaths quite heavy, the stronger one looks perfect and behaves normally

no fish will be added tll a month after the clowns were added

some fantastic corals in there. i used to love my 3ft tank in the living room but bein greedy i wanted bigger, unfortunatly bigger also meant i had to move it into the dining room, i think at some point i might get a nano for my front room.

The tank's looking great. Just 1 tip: your sun would be happier in a very low lght area, maybe under a rock ledge and it needs feeding meaty foods, so that every polyp gets a piece, once or twice a week.
