    Default overflow box?

I have a Rena 600 and the water surface is 100mm from the top of the aquarium.
My missus doesn't want to drill the tank and I cant be doing with the two fx5 cumbersome filters.
We Have come to a compromise,Overflow box and sump.
Do they work,Will it work on my tank and last of all are they any good?
    Anyone know
    Information would be welcomed
    Thanks Guys
    Dave

Hi overflow boxes do work but do suffer from air locks that stop them working, air is caught out of the water columm and gets trapped which can be vented by having a tap on the top of the overflow. Twiggy
