not seen this guy for ages, didnt know he was still in there. He emerged with a new hat! so 1 less snail then!

I got him from SteveS when he closed his system down. this guy must be at least 5-6 years old now, think he was one of Steve's first hermits into his tank.

funny you should post this as was thinking of starting a post about fish or critter that peps have had longest,and how old they are.

i've another hermit in there with 1 grey claw and black and white zebra legs who's deffo 6yrs old. I bought him from Animal House in Leeds back in 2003 when I first started my tank. I'll have to try get a pic but most of my hermits are elusive creatures :D
