ID Hitchhiker Crab

Hi all,

Anyone wanna try ID this fella for me.

Reef safe or not???...... I think it's a Gorilla Crab!

I would hazard a guess at xanthidae family and i would add that most crabs are opportunist feeders and so sump him-not reef safe.:D

think it looks more in the majidae family possibly mythrax species.

Hairy hynd legs, carpace shape and spoon claws.

ps gorilla crabs have pointed claws.
