    Default Can anyone identify this?

    Found it this morning sat on my thermometer checking out the temperature. It looks like some kind of shrimp, possibly a mantis?

    can you put something next to it to show its size, it does seem to have heavy claws tucked under it, i would seperate it untill you get an id if its fairly big

    Its a feisty little fella. I just sterilised the end of a biro and rinsed it in RO. When I put it in there is started throwing jabs :D

    Anyway, here is a size comparion pic. If it's a goodie, I release it back into the tank immediately

    yup a goodie, pod life, used to have thousands in my fuge, you should be able to see them first thing, scampering over the rockwork, the little rascals.
