    Default lobster in trouble

    Hi all,
this morning my blue lobster has moulted but his antennae look broken and... umm.. twirly.... (the best way I can describe it).
It has grown back a damaged antena before, but this time they look seriously mangled. I am guessing that he decided to moult bang next to my new pump for the skimmer I just fitted. However, I saw my cleaner waltz across the grills before hand, showing that it should be safe, but the twisty antena make me guess they have been dragged into some sort of suction.
Does anybody have any ideas or can they say if it will get back to normal?
    Thanks as always
    Dan

They usually return to normal at the next moult or one after that.

    glad to hear that.
He is really sulking since his mishap-not surprised TBH, it looks like it could have been painful, but his body and head are in great condition, so fingers crossed
    cheers

Good news on the lobster front
He is back to his normal self now - albeit with shorter antenae.
He is foraging and sifting as normal, and he readily accepts frozen food and flake.
I reckon in a couple of weeks he'll moult again and we'll see how his antenae look then.
In the near future I will be looking to rehome though I think. He's a real stunner and hand feeds, but my tank may not be the right place for him, especially after his last moult accident.
The boss lady loves him dearly, but I reckon through this site we'll find him a nice new pad :) (especially if a swap for a nice frag comes along)
