    I've just got rid of aiptasia off this LV with my furry mushrooms and now there is a layer of what looks like to be slime over each of them,The LV has been put into my fuge where the peps have eaten the aiptasia and the mushrooms seem to excel under the halides until this
    Can anyone shed any light????

    a bit late, i assume you have resolved this, for future benefit id suggest running carbon and or a water change.

    How many aips were on the rock if there was a lot then they have most likely stung the furry mushrooms and they are suffering damage, they will recover with TLC. Twiggy
    I have upgraded to a 48x26x30inch with a 40x18x18 sump which as a Bubble Magus NAC7 skimmer with a Eheim compact 5,000 return pump.
