or perhaps the fact that in 18 years of fish keeping i don't think i've ever seen one. might be better off trying an lfs and asking them to order it in specially, but then again if they're not being imported the lfs can't get them.

when I collected tropical I managed to keep and get vertually anything i wanted and i did get some very strange things.. The only reason i went to marine was to keep moray eel and a lionfish and also a toadfish and the like.. I have sent emails to people 9 times out of 10 i get no reply eventhough I have had emails of people who said they shops have them but only to find they have sold them but i get no reply when i ask them to re order them....

thing is the marine shipments are much more dependant on other random factors such as weather, season, economy blah, blah. then you get the fishing restrictions for each area, the red sea has particularly strict export restrictions for fish and corals. then you have to hope the fisherman have actually managed to find one, hope it survives the journey, that the exporter sends it to the local supplier, and then the lfs picks it out to take to his shop, oh and more importantly, that the lfs remembers when he goes to select his fish that he remembers someone has been coming in pestering him week after week for such and such.
