Hermit Crab Shells

does anybody know where to get these from? will it stop the hermits attacking snails?

i just put snails in my tank because i was sick of the hermit crabs pulling them out of the shells,the only ones they left alone were the very large turbos which were about one and half ins across.putting in a selection of shells will help but they will still pull them out.the very small blue hermit crabs should not pose a threat to the turbos.derek

i've not really noticed it happening before, i just thought i may be better adding some in case it started happening

Might be the meat they are after not the shells!
